About Association of Ghana Startups

The Association of Ghana Startup (AGS) is the premium association and mouthpiece of start-up entrepreneurs in Ghana, with a mission to build globally competitive start-ups.

AGS work around Four thematic areas – Capacity Building, Policy Advocacy, Access to Funding and Trade Facilitation / Access to Markets. 

Notably among our initiatives is the annual Young Entrepreneurs Summit and Awards, African SMEs Dialogue, among hosts of capacity building workshops and seminars nationwide, including exchange program that connects Ghanaian Startups to the global ecosystem.

Association of Ghana Startups Impact

Together with our partners and stakeholders, we are building globally competitive startups via the following pillars...

Capacity Building

We organize various workshops and seminars across the country to engage experts to build the capacities of our community.

Trade Facilitation

GSN organizes periodic exhibitions and trade fares, as well as leveraging on other platforms, to ensure our members trade locally and globally.

Policy Advocacy

Together with ecosystem players, we are working on the Ghana Startup Bill which is outlining incentive frameworks for job creation.

Global Exchanges

We organize and leverage on international exchange programs to expose our members to other markets beyond Ghana

Access to Finance

We leverage on our strategic networking to connect our members to patient capital and other sources of funding, via equity, loans or grants.

Celebrating Excellence

With our annual Young Entrepreneur Awards, we recognize and celebrate deserving startups and young entrepreneurs, nationwide
